About the event
Drug Interdiction is using behavior and actions of a person to identify them as a person involved in the Drug Trade. Drug Interdiction can be done at all levels of the Drug Trade. This course will include interdiction on highways, bus stations, street level drug dealers and drug houses. This course will instruct the student on different investigative techniques to target these drug traffickers and drug houses. The student will learn how to establish probable cause to search and arrest these drug traffickers, without buying drugs. The course will cover testifying in court. The investigative techniques taught can be used by plainclothes officers, uniformed officers or with them working together.
The instructor for the class will be Brian Sallee. Brian retired as a detective from the Albuquerque Police Department. He was a police officer for almost 40 years and spent over 31 years working narcotics units. Brian has provided training…
