Cost: $170 per student
This dynamic, one day class will be taught by John Ventura, who is an active police officer and prosecutor, with a focus on developing courtroom testimony skills in new officers, Field Training Officers (for new officer training) or officers in need of remedial training. Specific focus will be placed on DWI testimony. Officers who attend this class will have the opportunity to participate in practical courtroom exercises. Other areas of discussion will include:
Proper Documentation & Report Writing
Issue spotting
Knowing the strengths/weaknesses of a case
How to organize a case file and testimony
