About the event
This class is designed to help patrol officers understand the intricacies and nuances of drug interdiction. While interdiction can be fruitful in identifying drug couriers/dealers and can sometimes yield cash or other goods through asset forfeiture, there are pitfalls of which patrol officers must be made aware. This class covers:
- Techniques in identifying possible drug couriers.
- Constitutional constraints.
- Use of canines.

- Patrol interview techniques.

ABOUT GSPCC
Granite State Police Career Counseling (GSPCC) provides progressive and comprehensive law enforcement training through collaborative learning. GSPCC's instructors are seasoned classroom professionals with law enforcement backgrounds who are formally educated in their respective teaching and training fields.
About the Instructor:
Mike Donahue was promoted to sergeant with the Manchester, NH Police Department in 2019. From 2010-2019, he worked in various capacities as an undercover officer and detective. He worked plain clothes in the Street Crimes Unit and as an undercover detective dealing with Drug Trafficking Organized Crime and murder for hire. Sgt. Donahue was selected to work with the DEA Task Force, specializing in Congressional Law, DRE, Undercover and Surveillance. He started his law enforcement career in 2003 with the Amherst Police Department and has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Plymouth State College.
