About the event
This class is designed to help patrol officers understand the intricacies and nuances of drug interdiction. While interdiction can be fruitful in identifying drug couriers/dealers and can sometimes yield cash or other goods through asset forfeiture, there are pitfalls of which patrol officers must be made aware.
This class covers:
• Techniques in identifying possible drug couriers.
• Constitutional constraints.
• Use of canines.
• “Dos and don’ts.”
