Register HERE. Every effective prevention effort asks: how do we build the capacity to do the work? Capacity Building in Action is the second webinar in the PTTC Network’s five-part Strategic Prevention in Action series and focuses on practical strategies to strengthen the people, partnerships, and systems that make prevention possible. Using youth vaping as a unifying case example across the series, this session explores how communities and organizations assess readiness, develop collaborative coalitions, and grow workforce competencies to support effective planning and sustainable implementation of prevention activities.
Through a mix of concrete tools, real-world examples, and guided discussion, participants will learn to diagnose capacity gaps, prioritize capacity-building activities, and mobilize stakeholders and resources to build an infrastructure that supports long-term prevention goals. This session emphasizes practical, scalable approaches that practitioners can adapt to local contexts and organizational sizes.
