Register HERE. Planning in Action: Addressing Youth Vaping through the Strategic Prevention Framework
Planning in Action is the third session in the PTTC Network’s five-part Strategic Prevention in Action series, guiding participants through the Planning phase of SAMHSA’s Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF). Building on the assessment and capacity-building foundations covered in earlier sessions, this webinar focuses on how prevention professionals can translate data into purposeful, well-designed prevention plans.
Participants will learn how to align priorities with identified community needs, select evidence-based strategies, and create structured, achievable plans that leverage local strengths and resources. Using youth vaping as the ongoing case example, the training demonstrates how strong planning connects the “why” uncovered in assessment with the “how” of effective implementation.
This session is ideal for prevention practitioners, coalition members, school and community partners, and anyone responsible for designing or guiding prevention initiatives at the local, regional, or state level.
