"Forensic Cellular Site Survey and Analysis"

This course will provide criminal investigators both theory and hands-on application of procedures and technology foundational to effective forensic radio surveying of cellular sites and the related network technology being surveyed. This course will be delivered with a focus on accurate digital forensic analysis of cellular sites and relevant data based upon proper survey and understanding of the operation of a cellular network. Ultimately, this course takes the student to a point of determining and articulating reliability of the resulting evidence.

Topics Include:

• Learn the fundamentals of cellular network operations and site surveys

• Conduct hands-on forensic radio surveys to collect and analyze data

• Understand how survey results support accurate digital forensic analysis

• Develop the ability to assess and articulate the reliability of evidence
