"Ghost Guns" Privately Made Firearms (PMF)
This training will address several emerging trends which are currently plaguing Law Enforcement investigations, to include the increase in recoveries of privately made firearms (PMF) commonly referred to as "Ghost Guns" and machine gun conversion devices (MCD).
The training utilizes props/exemplars which are provided to aid investigators in the proper identification of these items. The training will also discuss common methods of PMF/MCD manufacture and explains how the use of ATF programs such as the National Ballistic Information Network (NIBIN) and ATF eTrace, can help identify potential leads relative to your firearms investigations.
